Every day, dozens of small things go right for you. After a rainy week, the sun finally pops out. Traffic is light on the way to work. A co-worker brings in cupcakes. Little things. Nice things. Add them all up and they make up a pretty good day. Moments like these are easy to overlook. That’s where an exercise known at gratitude practice helps, giving you the chance to look back and acknowledge all the good things that happened to you in the last 24 hours.  In this episode of the Mind Body Bowen podcast, Esther Wilcox, Bowen Health’s Director of Clinical Program Management, talks about the art of embracing gratitude.

Quirks. We all have them. There are things like chewing our fingernails, or loudly tapping our feet, even cracking our knuckles. They’re mostly small things, simple things, things we often do without even thinking, things others might consider annoying. And sometimes, we even annoy ourselves. You’ve heard it your entire life … “Brush your teeth twice a day …” but why? Well, it turns out it takes about 12 hours for plaque to start forming inside the mouth after eating. Left undisturbed, that plaque produces acids that can start to break down the otherwise healthy teeth and begin creating cavities. Brushing removes that plaque and those acids and keeps the mouth healthy.
In this episode of Mind Body Bowen, Bowen Health dentist Dr. Colin Spencer discusses why good oral health practices should be a regular part of your overall health plan.

In today’s episode of Mind Body Bowen, Dr. Alex Tanase, a Bowen Health pediatrician, talks with Dr. Siquilla Liebetrau, Bowen Health’s director of clinical services, about caring for patients with asthma.
